Amid controversy, today Round 2 of the iRacing 2021 Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup takes place at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the second of 10 rounds this season, a week after a dramatic season opener in Interlagos.
The top 40 best sim drivers in the world on the grid, battle it out for the $200,000 prize-fund, arguably the most prestigious series in virtual racing.
Although Coanda dominated the opening round, questions have been asked about setup exploits or cheats that may have given certain teams an advantage, once again shedding light into the murky world of cheating in sim racing at the highest level.
Begging the question: why not fixed setups?
