Initial D has a massive fan base and RKGaming takes us to the Hakone Nanamagari stage driving Hiroya Okuyama’s Nissan Silvia S15 in Assetto Corsa.
RKGaming likes touge racing and Initial D, a very competitive head to head battle in car racing that takes place on technical stages where precision driving is essential. Here he is testing Hiroya Okuyama’s Nissan Silvia S15 and putting the car through its paces as he displays great footwork skill.
Initial D is a Japanese street racing manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. It was serialized in Weekly Young Magazine from 1995 to 2013, and compiled into 48 tankōbon volumes by Kodansha. The story focuses on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, with the drift racing culture at its core.
The main character, Takumi Fujiwara, is a seemingly uninterested high school student who works as a gas station attendant and delivery boy for his father’s tofu shop. Unbeknownst to many, he has honed his driving skills while making deliveries early in the morning in his father’s Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86), mastering the art of drifting down the mountain roads of his home prefecture, Gunma.
