Welcome to my twentieth weekly blog !!

The sim grid Sprint Cup S4
I drive The Sim Grid Sprint Cup S4 together with Alethea Boucq. The first race was last Thursday 08-07-2021.
I drove the qualifying and we ended up P11. After a tough start and got hit in lap 6, then I was at the back of the field. Luckily, I could get some places back and Alethea drove a very good second stint, we ended up P15!

Theamusante Wavy World Tour
Round two of the Theamusante Wavy World Tour was 2 hours at Imola. I drove together with Sophie Aeronwen and Sarah Johnson. I drove the qualifying and we started at P2!
It was one miracle lap, unfortunately, no pole, but we knew it’s going to be a tough race. At the end of the first stint I was driving at P3, unfortunately, the pitstop went wrong and I didn’t hand over the car to Sarah. I had her requested her, I’m not sure how it went wrong, I drove another stint to spare another pitstop for the driver swap. Sophie drove the last stint and we ended up P7! We have now two place seven results in this championship. The next race is over a week 90 minutes at Kyalami.

Pro league Racing
Last Monday 12-07-2021 I drove the Pro League Racing World Tour. Round one was 1H @ Kyalami. I knew it’s going to be a tough race, I didn’t feel very good.
Well… It was a tough race and a mandatory pitstop with tire change that saved my race a little bit.

I got hit after a couple of laps, that cost me a lot of places and also a lot of damage. I went early to the pits, repair the damage, and drove a good long stint to get some positions back. When I was back on track, it was P45. I had some space to get back to my pace and gain some places with good lap times and all the other drivers that still needed to do the pitstop. After a lot of pushing the car to the limit and constant driving, I ended up P18! To be honest I didn’t expect to finish at P18 and expected a lot worse.

Sophie Aeronwen drive also the championship, in the Silver class. She drove very well and won in their class! Congrats and keep up the good work!!

The next race is Monday 19-07-2021, 2 x 30 minutes races at Snetterton. I’m curious how that will go and looking forward to it!

Mayhem on the mountain
The Sim Grid is organizing another one off event; Mayhem on the mountain!
GT4 at Bathurst! I’m going to drive the Porsche Cayman GT4.
90 minutes race, with two mandatory pitstops, going to be interesting!
