Max Benecke Team Redline Wins Top Split Spa 24 Hour iRacing

Max Benecke and Team Redline win the top split of the spa 24 hours in iRacing. In the closing stages we also see a battle royale with Max Verstappen and Hendrik Kruse of Biela Racing.

The Spa 24 hours endurance race in iRacing took place over the weekend. A massive event in the sim racing calendar with thousands taking part in different splits. With this event, we had not seen any delays or hick ups like we did at the Daytona 24 hours.

Max Benecke #71 of BMW Team Redline RED brought the car home to victory in the top split with 30 seconds in the bag over second place. Chris Lulham of BMW Team Redline Blue brought the car home in second place, with Alexander Vob of BMW Team BS Competition in third.

One of the massive talking points and tale of the race was the battle royale that was unfolding with Max Verstappen (Porsche24 by Redline) and Hendrik Kruse ( Biela Racing Euronics) for 5th place.

No inch was left on the table by both drives, Verstappen was defensive to the point of you thought it was for the victory and Kruse was relentless, looking for opportunities. credit must be given to both drivers as every moment was a “shut your eyes and hope for the best moment”, a real nail biter.
